What happens if my body butter melts? 

The texture may change and it may not appear whipped and smooth and it may appear bumpy or lumpy if it melts during shipping and then hardens.   That's why if your scented shea butter is melted when you receive it you will want to cool it quickly by letting it solidify in the refrigerator or freezer, although you may also let it solidify at room temperature.  Use a small spoon or cosmetic spatula to carefully mix the contents before and after you let it solidify.  There may appear to be less product in the jar, but it is sold by weight and not volume, so it does not decrease in weight due to melting.

We ship from St. Thomas, VI, so your body butter will likely melt during shipping even if it is not melted when you get it. If the Shea butter and oils separated during shipping, you may wish to stir the contents with a small spoon or cosmetic spatula when you open the jar for the first time.
