Shipping and Refund Policies
SHIPPING
The offer of free shipping for orders $75+ (after any discount applied) is only for shipping to the USA and US territories for retail purchases and does not apply to any wholesale orders.
Shipments to the customs zone of the USA (50 States, DC, & PR)
JDNatlady’s Creations is a company located in the United States Virgin Islands, which is a US insular possession that is outside the customs zone of the United States of America.
With the ending of the de minimus exemption on August 29, 2025, all shipments of Made in the USVI products sent from the USVI to the customs zone of the USA are now subject to a 15% customs duty and a separate processing fee that JDNatlady’s Creations must prepay before shipping your package via USPS, which is the only way we are able to ship.
Products with another country of origin are subject to even higher customs duties, e.g., 30% for China, plus a processing fee. Even though JDNatlady's Creations prints, decorates, or paints on a blank t-shirt, mug, or other blank product that was made in another country, such as China, US Customs still considers the item we sell to have that other country, such as China, as the country of origin.
As a small business, we do not have the means to pay those customs duties without raising the prices to cover some of that expense. Moreover, we do not have a way to show the price and a separate line item for the customs duties and processing fees charged by the US government via the Zonos Prepay app that we are now required to use to pay up front all customs duties and processing fees for shipments from the USVI to the customs zone of the USA. Thus, our only solution was to increase the product prices to cover those tariff costs.
Effective September 29, 2025, we raised all prices to include an amount that covers most of the cost relating to the customs duties and processing fees. Your shipping label, receipt, packing slip, etc. will show no information relating to the customs duties and processing fees that JDNatlady's Creations is required to pay to US Customs via Zonos Prepay.
Given that we are now able to estimate the amount of customs duties and processing fees for all products we sell,, all products are now available for sale to the customs zone of the USA, with their new higher prices that reflect an amount that covers customs duties and processing fees that JDNatlady's Creations must pay to US Customs via the Zonos Prepay app for shipments sent via USPS.

The buyer from any country that is outside the customs zone of the United States is responsible for paying directly to the USPS or any other appropriate governmental authority or entity any and all customs duties, VAT fees, GST, HST, PST, tariffs, or any similar fees or taxes. Any buyers from any other country must pay to their respective governments any customs duties, GST, HST, PST, tariffs, VAT fees, ad velorem taxes or fees, internet purchase fees, or any similar fees or taxes JDNatlady's Creations will not be responsible for the collection of customs duties, GST, HST, PST, tariffs, VAT fees, internet purchase fees, or any similar fees or taxes.
Options to shop in person
If you are on St. Thomas and shopping with JDNatlady’s Creations at Vendor’s Plaza, you are not subject to these tariffs even on items that have China as the country of origin, because of the $1600 duty free allowance visitors from the USA get when shopping in the USVI as long as your purchase totals from all items bought in the USVI don’t exceed your duty free allowance
Requirements of Australia
If you are ordering from Australia, you must provide your national tax identification number for it to be placed on the mailing label per your country's current mailing requirement.
All packages shipped are shipped via USPS
We only ship using the United States Postal Service ("USPS"). You will be provided with a tracking number if one is provided for the type of service used to ship your package. From past experience, during normal times priority mail to the U.S. mainland from St. Thomas, VI has taken 3 to 5 days but sometimes takes longer. International shipments may take 1 to 5 weeks and possibly longer. Those time frames are from day the USPS accepts the package.
Please note that we have no control over how long the post office takes to deliver your package. The post office includes $100 insurance with your Priority Mail package shipment to the USA or US territories.
No insurance is provided on international shipments unless the shipment is sent via Priority Mail International. If your shipment is under 4 lbs it will not be shipped via Priority Mail International. Packages under 1 lb will be sent in an envelope via First Class Mail International. Packages weighing 1 lb 1 oz to 4 lbs will be sent via First Class Package International Service.
USPS tracking is provided for your package, and you may track the status of your package. JDNatlady's Creations bears no responsibility for mail that shows as delivered by the US Postal Service or for which delivery is delayed.
If you make an error and provide an incorrect shipping address, and your item is returned to us, the free shipping offer does not extend to having to reship the item to the correct address. We will have to make arrangements for you to pay for the costs to ship the package a second time before we are able to send it
PROCESSING TIMES
in stock items are dropped at the post office for mailing within three to five business days of your order being received. If there is any delay, we will contact you.
SPECIAL ORDERS OR PRE-ORDERS
If you have a special order or you order an item that is a pre-order, or you order an item that is out-of-stock and so your item is back ordered, the processing time will vary. The processing time for most pre-order soaps is four to five weeks due to the curing time for soaps being four weeks. Pre-orders list in the listing the date by which the item will be ready for mailing. Please note that if you order multiple items and any of them are a pre-order, your entire order will be shipped together when the pre-order item(s) with the latest date is ready.
For special orders, please note that, if all raw materials are in stock, soaps take a minimum of four weeks to cure so allow four and one-half weeks of production time before your soaps would be ready to be mailed.
For hair products or bath or body products that are a special order, please allow for a two week production time prior to the date that your order will be dropped off at the post office for mailing.
APO/FPO/DPO
We ship to APO/FPO/DPO addresses using USPS.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS
All products may not be offered for sale or shipment to all international destinations to which we ship. For most countries, the only items available to purchase with be handmade soap bars.
As stated above, all customs duties, tariffs, VAT, ad velorem fees or taxes or other taxes, duties, or fees charged by any governmental agency or entity that must be paid for you to receive your item in your country must be paid by you directly to the governmental agency or entity. No refund will be given for any item returned to sender by USPS due to any failure to pay the aforementioned duties, tariffs, VAT, taxes, or similar fees.
REFUNDS, RETURNS, AND EXCHANGES
We do not offer returns or exchanges, except as listed below. All sales are FINAL unless we made an error with your order. So unless we made an error with your order, we are unable to offer refunds or accept returns or exchanges.
If we made an error with your order, please send us an email at jdnatlady@jdnatladyscreations.com along with photos and a description of the issue so that we may work on resolving the error by either refunding your purchase price or providing you with the correct product.
